Meet Kendrick Louis, Australian ironman and Aussie Bodies ambassador
Tell us a bit about what you get up to on a typical day
For me most days consist of three training sessions, so there’s not really much time for anything else!! However I am currently learning the ropes of the hospitality industry. Health, fitness and the hospitality industry is where I’d like to see myself in the future.
When are you at your happiest?
I’d have to say when I’m body surfing! It would have to be the best thrill in world. I’m honestly surprised it’s free…
How do you relax?
Relaxing is when I’m either sleeping or eating…This is a huge struggle for me! I’ll get back to you.
What are you currently training for?
The surf life saving summer has just got underway with the Summer Of Surf. The Summer of Surf and the Ironman series are an big priority for me as well as racing for my club Manly at State and National level.
If you had to give one piece of advice when it comes to working out what would it be?
Always try and put your own spin on things to keep them interesting and somewhat fun and enjoyable.
If you had to give one piece of advice when it comes to nutrition what would it be?
Balance is key. For example my diet ratio would be 80:20. The 80 would be healthy eating, protein, meat and vege, fruit, nuts, little amounts of dairy.
The 20 part is mainly Saturday night and Sunday. This is where I eat whatever I like…
How is Aussie Bodies part of your diet and regime?
I use the Aussie Bodies Perfect Protein – All natural in post workout shakes or even as a light snack before training in a smoothie

I’m Aussie, I live an active Aussie lifestyle and the products support my training.
When you need to work out but are lacking motivation what gets you up and going?
I believe surrounding yourself with people with a similar objective or goal as yours makes it a lot easier. Training isn’t easy but set yourself little goals, celebrate them when you hit them and reset. These things take sacrifice but if you truly commit it becomes a lifestyle not a chore!
What are your favorite Aussie Bodies products and flavours?
The chocolate All Natural protein powder when I’m training and absolutely love the AB Lo Carb Almond Brownie :):):)
